        Cook has experience in both civil and criminal matters, both in public sector, and private. In the public sector Cook has more than six years experience working with two highly regarded Hennepin County District Court judges where he was integral in the court’s deliberative process and frequently drafted court decisions and orders on behalf of the judge in both criminal and civil matters.

        In the private sector he has handled civil litigation involving contract disputes and other commercial business disputes, mechanics’ liens, real property matters and more. His experience includes researching and drafting legal pleadings such as motions and responses to motions, and the accompanying legal memoranda, as well as arguing the motions in various district courts. He has also been involved in numerous mediations, arbitration hearings, trials, and a number of appeals to the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
